Welcome to the Nicoya Peninsula, a very special place indeed! It is no wonder more and more people are gravitating to this area, as it has been designated as one of the world’s five Blue Zones – “hot-spots having common healthy traits and life practices that result in higher-than-normal longevity” – a mecca for the holistic and healing arts practice.
AHKí is a short 3 kilometers (10 minutes) drive from Garza, a quaint fishing village with a lovely beach where you’ll find more ticos (locals) than tourists. Another 15-20 minute drive north finds you in Nosara with Playa Guiones and Playa Pelada. Here you can experience wonderful restaurants, shopping, various excursions and some of the finest surfing in the country!
