Here at AHKí we are serving up fresh (organic, when available) vegetarian meals that appeal to a variety of appetites. In our amply stocked, commercial kitchen, Chef Anita and our experienced staff, cook solely for our retreat guests, enabling us to take into consideration your individual dietary needs, making the appropriate modifications and adjustments. Upon request, raw and cleanse menus can be provided. All meals are served in our lovely open air dining room, with a grand vista of the gardens, pool and mountains and sea.
Your day begins with a self serve feast of fresh fruits, home made, organic yogurt from local, fresh raw milk, breads, granolas, and fresh local, organic eggs.
Our healthy and delicious lunches and dinners are carefully planned to be “climate appropriate”. You will never feel weighed down from food too heavy for the Costa Rica climate, but, most certainly you will leave the table satiated!
Our meals are served at our large family style, dining table with dishes such as:

Anita has been practicing yoga for half her life and teaching for the last six. From that process of discovery and sharing comes the desire to explore and play beyond the mat with the flavors of the Earth. Those flavors that nourish us and make us who we are and bring us into a yoga-union state with our being. Inspiration of the present moment, materials available and intuitive creativity in Anita’s hands bring vegan recipes to life! Recipes that are nutritious and delicious.
Anita teaches yoga and cooking workshops in both Colombia and Costa Rica. She is trainer, consultant and adviser for Cafe Uhmm in Bogotá. She also collaborates in special events such as Festival Internacional de las Artes in Costa Rica and with restaurants El Búho Vegetariano and Café Jardín del Parque. She is a regular vender of her own prepared-food creations in Feria Verde de Aranjuez (an organic farmers market) in San Jose, Costa Rica.
